Guidelines for autosport training in Covid-19 emergency conditions have been developed (103)
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia, from May 12, 2020, it is allowed to organize sports trainings and individual classes, observing all conditions to ensure the safety and health of those involved. Trainings are allowed to be organized only accompanied by certified trainers and in groups not exceeding 25 people, of course, taking into account the distance between people, which is at least 2m.

Taking into account the state of emergency in our country - the first two stages of the season in karting and minkāri have been canceled (32)
Most of Europe, as well as Latvia, has been taken over by the Covid-19 pandemic wave for almost two months, followed by countless bans and a state of emergency in the country for human safety. Unfortunately, this pandemic, which has taken over Latvia, is severely affecting and does not completely differentiate all sectors, including sports. Taking into account that the state of emergency in Latvia was extended until 12 May 2020, the fate of the first stages of the season and other security measures were decided at the meeting of the LAF Karting Commission on April 15.

The planned stages of the European Autocross Championship in the Baltics will not take place this year (16)
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) together with the organizers of the Latvian and Lithuanian European Autocross Championship stages, as well as the automobile federations of both countries, have decided to cancel the motorsport events planned in the Baltics: Mūsa Raceland 06.-07. June and Vilkyčiai 13.-14. June.
