There is only a little left until the traditional competition for children and young generation will be held in Madona: the Micro-Mini-Junior festival. The season's opening stage on the Madona track will be held already on May 26 (71)
Already this weekend, we will meet at Madona karting track to start the 2018 season. Until September, we are expecting 5 competitions organized by Pro-Kart - Latvian Karting Open Championship, Pro-Kart Cup, Rotax Challenge Cup, as well as a test of the LMT Motor Sport Academy.

Gustavs Māliņš represents Latvia at the prestigious CIK-FIA Karting Academy (15)

The first electric karting championship in the world will take place in Latvia (43)
If until now it seemed that the history of karting has already been well described and there is a solid foundation to be passed on from generation to generation, then with today it is quite clear that this season will write new pages in karting history books. Within the framework of the Latvian Championship and in a completely separate class, the 2018 season, the first electronic karting will be on the track. So this is a completely new record in the history of Latvia, as we will be the first country in the world to host the Electric Karting Championship.
