This weekend, from August 23 to 24, the 5th stage of the season will take place in Riga district – Sporta Komplekss “333” track, at Ropaži. This race definitely promises to be quite intense, exciting and adrenaline filled as the season ends with rapid steps and alongside this karting stage the sixth round of the Latvian Championship in enduro and the fourth round of the Latvian Cup in enduro sprint will take place in track right next to us.

Taking into account that the Sporta Komplekss “333” will be thoroughly worn on all sides on Saturday, we encourage you to be understandable as in parallel to the 5th stage of the karting, the sixth round of the Latvian Championship and the fourth round of the Latvian Cup in enduro sprint will be held here too.

Highlights of Saturday's agenda. Please note that the registration of the participants, the scrutineering and the issue of the tires will take place on Saturday from 8:00 - 8:30. From 8:30 to 10:20 there will be warm-up trips. 10:20 qualifying races will be conducted by classes M125, CZ125, Retro, and Tek. Parallel to these rounds, there will be a meeting of participants. As a reminder, attendance at a meeting is mandatory. The Opening Parade will run from 11:00 to 11:10. The semifinals are from 11:10 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., while the finals run from 14:30 to 6:35 p.m. Participants' site opens Thursday - August 22nd. In the Participants place, seats are only granted to participants. Seats are not booked in advance. They will be awarded by the organizers according to the order in which participants arrive at the shed. It is also mandatory to attend the awards ceremony. Planned duration of the competition is from 8am to about 8pm, given that the award ceremony is scheduled for 7pm.

This year, too, this will be the first and only competition of this season here, so there is a request from the organizers and the track representatives not to throw away their used tires in the garbage bins not intended for it! The suggestion would be to prepare the boxes themselves, which will put these unnecessary tires, and then place the boxes next to the containers but do not throw them in with the other household waste. Otherwise you will be charged! We also remind you that it is strictly forbidden to drill in the technical park - drilling on asphalt and it is obligatory to place a carpet under the kart, otherwise you will be penalized - 300 EUR!

Without exception in this race as well, the Chief Physician will be available during these competitions. This is the person who will be available in the rally fleet throughout the competition (not just for the athletes). The main basic function of the doctor will be to coordinate the work of the operating medical team and to evaluate the ability of the athletes after the incident or, conversely, the inability to continue the competition. This means that any athlete who is involved in a racing incident will be required to visit the race chief physician and obtain written permission to participate in the race, which will have to be presented to the chief referee and / or pre-start field referee!
