Well, then it will finally be possible to discover the karting season in Latvia as well. The first competition will take place on July 16-17. On the Smiltene karting track, where following race series will play out the trophies: Latvian Championship, Rotax Max Latvija Challenge Cup, Pro-Kart Cup, Electric Karting Cup, Tillotson T4 Cup.

Of course, it should be taken into account that the event must comply with MK Regulation no. 360 criteria, as a result there is a possibility that there will be restrictions at the venue, but the organizer will do everything possible to make the competition take place, if not likein times when no one knew about Covid, but at least in the same atmosphere as in the season 2020.

Also on 06.07.2021 at the meeting of the Karting Commission it was decided that in Madona there will be double competitions in the Latvian Championship and RMLIK series, one stage on Saturday and the second stage on Sunday. As well as tentatively we will end the season at the Jelgava karting track at the end of September, where double competitions will very likely take place, the final decision on which will be made at the next Karting Commission meetings.
