Zviedris will drive at last CIK-FIA Autosport Academy stage in Sweden

Already this week our talented Latvian karting driver Valters Zviedris with the team will go to the last CIK-FIA Autosport Academy stage, which will take place from 1 - 4 September, Sweden, the sharpness of the Ring track near Kristinstadt town. This phase is associated with the greatest expectations as this track Valters has already started. Last year, 32 athletes competed on the Swedish stage of the Rotax Max and Valters won 6th place. Valters team believes, if lucky with the lottery engine and engine changes, the result of the Top 5 or even location the podium looks objective distance to downtown.
In the second phase, which took place in Portugal, Valters Zviedris reached 10 th place, which is by far the best achievement for Valters CIK-FIA Autosport Academy competitions. Table standings after two stages Zviedris with 6 points currently ranks 19th place out of 51 riders of participants. It is recalled that the Zviedris is the only Latvian representative in the race.

This race will certainly have a special by the fact that the Brazilian former F1 driver Rubens Barrichello, who has regularly competed in karting for several seasons, has decided to take on a worthy challenge by taking part in this Championship driving a BirelART / Parilla / Vega against the specialists in the category.
Valters himself before the final start feeling confident in their own abilities and successful start sharpness at track: "I think that everything will be very good. Portugal already showed strong performance and I think that Sweden will be even stronger because of the weather conditions are more similar to Latvian climate, as well as I have spent a good workout Madona - Pro-Kart and Latvian Championship. Slightly've also improved my physical condition to be able to corner harder to hold.” Queries about the strongest competitors in the Swedish track, Valters is responsible without delay: "The strongest competitors will certainly be local Swedish riders, which on its home track is quite fast, but I for his speed in I track no doubt, because I have already traveled there and I think that will show good performance. We remind you that the CIK-FIA Karting Academy is unique in that all participants Karting Academy starts with one manufacturer's equipment - OTK Group Expirit Kart with Vortex OK Junior engine. Kart frames participants raffles for all three stages, but the engines - for each stage separately. Valters Zviedris until now can boast of a two-fold Latvian Karting Champion 2009 Micro class and in 2015 Rotax Max Junior category. In addition to these titles Walter has a number of Latvian and Baltic championships medals, because every season spent in karting learned race victories and awards.
