It doesn't work ayawny (over here ayawny), they keep a strict eye on the budget they give you, if you didn't spend it on the specific care you were approved for (meaning if you either kept it or spent it wrong), you need to pay it all back. So that would just land you in debt.I got a phonecall a while back asking if I was still autistic :SMy partner answered the call and handled the conversation, but they had me come to the phone and say yes (quite literally). Partner told me what question I was answering yes to. (-_-') http://ujulcfbyr.com elzphefle [link=http://clialo.com]clialo[/link]

I work for an SLS agency in CA, and this exact issue has caeusd nothing but difficulty for our clients since it was implemented. It's next to impossible to get new direct support staff into the IHSS system in a timely manner, existing staff have to pay for their own fingerprinting (where, in some counties, it costs up to $75 to get), and it's negatively affecting our clients (most of whom require 24-hour support). IHSS is already full of red tape and incredibly difficult to navigate; this only makes it worse. Obviously, it's a good program that helps a lot of people, but right now it's such a mess that it's hurting PWD and their providers alike.

Given Gov. Schwarzenegger’s track record in golssry exaggerating fraud in IHSS, this latest pronouncement of a ‘public safety crisis’ should be met with extreme skepticism. Let’s put the issue in context.Even if all of these 210 providers alleged to be ‘dangerous’ felons had past convictions, that represents 0.00005 percent of the 380,000 homecare providers in IHSS. That’s hardly a crime wave. It’s also important to note that there have been no reports of a case where a caregiver with a criminal record has committed a violent crime against an IHSS consumer.Homecare providers, many of whom are family members or friends, have no interest in putting the people they care for in danger. Under current law, IHSS consumers can obtain information on the criminal background history of their providers or prospective providers. But Schwarzenegger has failed to provide needed regulations to guide the counties in implementing this law. Finally, if the governor is so interested in protecting consumers, why has he cut funding for Adult Protective Services and for the social workers that administer IHSS and tried to throw thousands of consumers out of the program? It should be obvious that, just as he is attempting to do with his outrageous, unproven fraud claims, Schwarzenegger is using this crime scare tactic as an excuse to cut the program, not to protect consumers. He is trying to do by administrative fiat what he has failed to accomplish in the legislature. http://rcvsomdh.com ccnhbplsm [link=http://xixjeiph.com]xixjeiph[/link]

From what I gather, cimocs do support each other quite a bit; there seems to be room for everyone. I so want this for you, and am happy that you are continuning to pursue it. Things will fall into place when it's time, as long as you keep moving toward your goal.

Christi, thank you. Isn't it an amazing story? I love thkniing of how we were both listening to it only a few miles apart. I'm addicted to the New Yorker fiction podcasts and only wish they were weekly rather than monthly.
