The FIA Women in Motorsport Commission is pleased to announce the renewal of our partnership with the CIK-FIA, aiming at designating one young female driver, aged from 13 to 15, to be granted a kart, in this year’s edition of the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy.

Year 2016 karting season have ended, the final stages also and has been quite a big break, to rest, to assess the progress made and once again get that missing feeling after the next trip with your kart. However, to fully end a great season this year and highlight in future targets for the next, we invite you to the wonderful season Award celebrations – on 26th of November, in Riga, at art space "Dizaina Fabrika" / Slokas Street 52d.

Last week ended Rotax "Grand Final" competitions (2)
Last week, from the "Grand Final" competitions, which took place in Sarno, Italy from 15 to October 22, we were at home expecting our riders, who represented the Latvian honor. Unfortunately, none of the drivers got a chance to win a place on the podium, but some progress has been assessed as very high and as a whole are proud of all the riders.

Latvians are going to the Rotax global competition "Grand Final" (49)
Also this year, Latvian riders all season long fought not only in various Latvian karting stages, but also the Rotax Challenge Cup stage. Victory in MicroMax, MiniMax, DD2 and DD2 Masters classes resulted in the standings with a ticket to the "Grand Final" competition, which will take place in Sarno, Italy from 15 to October 22.

Talented Lapiņš short of 11 seconds to qualify for the World RX of Neste Latvia finale (0)
Today on startup to "Neste World RX of Latvia" went out not only our Supercar talented riders Reinis Nitišs and Jānis Baumanis, but the RX Lites class riders – Mārtiņš Lapiņš, who participated in the competition JC Race Teknik team, and the SRT team member Vasīlijs Grjazins.

2016’ season ends with Pro-Kart Stage 7 and beautiful fireworks (12)
With spectacular fireworks over the sky at SK333 officially ended last race awards ceremony of this season. We finished the seventh and final stage of the Pro-Kart, as well as the fifth LMT Autosport Academy stage.

Already on Saturday October 1, we wil meet on karting track, again. This time, both of the last Latvian karting season stages at SK333. This will be the final or seventh Pro-Kart stages and LMT Autsport Academy final, fifth stage of this season.
